FILDWITH ACTORS

ABBY LINDIG - Abby recently originated the role of Iseult in Fildwith’s production of Being Born, and then played Alivian in Time Being.  Abby moved to New York from Texas six years ago and immediately became interested in the stage.  At Helen Hayes and Northern Westchester Center for the Arts, she played the roles of Laurie in Oklahoma, Cinderella in Cinderella, Fern in Charlotte’s Web, Marta and Leisl in The Sound of Music, and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, among others.  Her first professional acting job was Miracle on 34th Street with Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre.  She’s since booked commercials, voiceovers, educational videos, worked with Rodgers and Hammerstein making instructional videos, and recorded CDs for Razor Entertainment.  Recently Abby filmed a pilot with Moe Green Entertainment for a new live action Cartoon Network show called Locker 514.  She also has been a featured vocal soloist in Ion Ionescu's piano concerts.  She sings in many choral groups, most notably Jenna’s Dream Choir.  She has been accepted into Papermill Playhouse, Boston Tanglewood Institute and recently spent a month in Rome, Italy with Operafestival di Roma.  She studies voice with Amelia De Mayo and Joan Barber, and takes private tap from Jimmy Tate.  Abby is represented by Goldstar Talent Management, Val’s Artist’s Management and Kolstein Talent Agency.

ERIC NELSEN - Eric plays the role of Imotep in Time Being. He first entertained Fildwith audiences with his hysterical portrayal of Cicero in our company's May 2005 production of Interaction on Theatre Row, and at 59E59 Theaters in December 2005 as Skelly in Ragamuffins. He portrayed the beloved hippie character, Hummus, in Fildwith's May 2006 production of In Tune with the Universe, and played Adlai in Ragamuffins in March 2006 - at Theatre Three and Five on West 43rd. Other Off-Broadway credits include Dear Maudie, Five Guns Four Bullets, and Every Man (2006’s 8 Minutes of Madness Playwright Festival). Eric can be seen in a featured guest starring role on Nickelodeon's new series iCarly, and will soon be appearing in a leading role in the new CBS series, Babylon Fields as well as a guest starring role on Law & Order. His other TV credits include Locker 514 a new live action pilot for Cartoon Network, a recurring role on the CBS daytime drama The Guiding Light, and a role on the Discovery Channel's Sensing Murder. He is a leading dancer on the DVD series Dancin' Feet. Film credits include: A Very Serious Person (starring Polly Bergen, Dana Ivey, directed by Charles Busch), The Babysitters (starring Cynthia Nixon, John Leguizamo), Unlocked, and a short film, "War: A Romance". Eric won a National Championship in tap dancing and was named "Junior Male Dancer of the Year" by Access Broadway. He has done numerous commercials and voiceovers, appears with Fildwith company members on the new CD, Banana Boat to the Moon, and recently recorded for George Lucas' new video game Thrillville. Eric studies voice with Badiene Magaziner and is represented by Carson-Adler and Innovative Artists.

CATIA OJEDA - Catia is very happy to be joining Fildwith for this production of Time Being. Most recently, she played the title role in Erica Seeing Red, a staged reading of a new play at Lincoln Center, and was last seen as Hope Cladwell in the Gallery Players' production of Urinetown. Other favorite roles include Hermione in The Winter's Tale, Abigail in Finding the Sun, and Delfi in the concert version of Missionaries (Liz Swados). Recent TV appearances include co-starring roles on Law and Order and The Black Donnellys. Catia also performs regularly with her sketch comedy group, The Modern Kids (www.themodernkids.com). Catia holds a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College ands has also trained at The British American Dramatic Academy (BADA) in London, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, and currently studies with Terry Schreiber.

MARC GINSBURG - Marc is very excited to join the Fildwith company for this production of Time Being.  Marc's most recent performance was as Vincent Van Gogh in Gauguin/Savage Light at Theatre Row and the Abingdon Theatre.  In addition to playing Van Gogh, Marc also understudied and performed the role of Paul Gauguin.  This past summer took Marc to Princeton, IL where he enjoyed runs as Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Freddie Fellowes in Noises Off, Jud Fry in Oklahoma, and Billy Flynn in Chicago.  Other favorite roles include Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof (with Eddie Mekka), Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, Pseudolus in ...Forum, Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl, Terry Connor in Side Show, King Marchan in Victor/Victoria, Josh Baskin in Big, and understudying and performing the role of Fagin in the NETworks National Tour of Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver.  Marc has also enjoyed directing student written plays at his alma mater, Penn State University, and can be seen on the original internet series, The Burg.  Much thanks to the Fildwith company, family and friends - I can never do anything without you all.

CHRIS WILL - Chris is excited to be working in Time Being at Theatre Three in NYC with the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre. He was last seen on stage as the Wolf in The 3 Little Pigs for The Manhattan Children's Theater. Other credits include Batboy, Batboy The Musical; Matt, The Fantasticks; Frank, All My Sons; King, Love's Labor's Lost; and Follies in Concert which was specially arranged by Sir Cameron Mackintosh. Chris has also performed in workshops of new musical theatre, including working with Jason Robert Brown. Chris holds a BFA in Theatre & Dance from The University of Wyoming and a Masters of Performance in Musical Theatre from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. LIZZIE HENNEY - Lizzie attends the Professional Children's School and in March 2006 played Eva for the second time in her fourth Fildwith production of Ragamuffins; formerly she played Mavis and Emmalyn. In May 2006, Lizzie portrayed the characters of Alicia and Ashbury in Fildwith's In Tune with the Universe. Recent performances include: Delphine in Fildwith's Off-Broadway production of Interaction; Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls at Actors Conservatory Theater; Susan in the Kaufman Center's musical Sunshine; Young Electra in IMUA! Theatre's Off-Broadway epic production of The Greeks; and Maureen in IDS' production of Honk!. She was a featured singer at the 2005 PCS Benefit for the composer Stephen Schwartz, and has performed alongside her siblings, Katie and Patrick, in both Robert Marks' Spotlight Night at Danny's Skylight Cabaret and on the new CD, Banana Boat to the Moon. She also has another children’s CD coming out from ClangMusic. Liz has appeared in a national television commercial and four independent films: Longshots, Triangle Fire, Querida and Family. She loves to tap, sing and act, play her guitar, watch old movies, and entertain every waking hour! Lizzie is managed by Maude Kaplan.

LINA MAX SILVER - Lina has loved originating the roles of Monmou in Time Being and Toozy in Fildwith's production of Being Born. She's appeared in Fildwith's Off-Broadway productions of Ragamuffins and In Tune with the Universe as well. Currently, Lina can be seen at The American Girl Place Theater's A Circle of Friends, year-round musical as Michelle/Elizabeth/Jenny/Two Hawks. In January 2008, Lina can be seen in Kidz Theater's production of Once on This Island, Jr. at The Cherry Lane Theater. Other musical credits include: The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park's A Midsummer Night's Dream as the fairy, Moth, the Pre-Broadway Staged Reading of The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. with Eric McCormack and Kerry Butler, the Captain Louie Jr. workshop for Stephen Schwartz with iTheatrics, I Hate Music - The Songs & Music of Glen Roven, and the touring group of The People Garden. She has made various TV appearances, as well as commercials, professional print, and runway modeling work. A fourth-grader at The Richard Rodgers School of the Arts and Technology in NYC, she's appeared as Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress, as well various musicals and special performances. KRISTEN ROZANSKI - Kristen is very excited for her first production with Fildwith in Time Being. She escaped the icy grip of Minnesota after graduating from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a BFA in Theater and an emphasis in Musical Theater. Her favorite roles thus far include the Emcee in Cabaret, Charity in Sweet Charity, Lady Teazle in School for Scandal, Marilyn in David's Redhaired Death, Molly in Barbra's Wedding (BVT), Alice in Fahrenheit 451 (59E59), Into the Weeds: A Musical Revue at the West Bank Cafe, and Wickets (Adapted Fefu & Her Friends) at HERE Performing Arts Center. She can also be seen performing improv around the city with her Upright Citizens Brigade classmates, or in sketches on stage and online with the comedy sketch group Spurn. Kristen enjoys taking every chance she can get to thank her amazing and supportive parents who keep her off the streets and out of jail; they are the wind beneath her sparsely feathered wings.

LIZ KIMBALL - Liz is thrilled to join this tremendous group of artists in Time Being. A recent arrival in New York, Liz graduated this past spring summa cum laude with a BS in Theater and English from Northwestern University.  Regional credits include A Christmas Carol at the McCarter, The World Goes ‘Round (Woman #2), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Cats (Victoria), State Fair, and Cinderella (Cinderella). Favorite Northwestern roles include Ivy in On the Town, Hedy in How to Succeed, Angel in Was, and Linda in Savage in Limbo.  She also performed for four years in Waa-Mu, the annual Northwestern student-written original musical, and was the producing co-chair of the 2006 75th Anniversary show, Jubilee.  Liz is currently represented by Schiowitz, Connor, Ankrum, and Wolf, Inc., and studies acting with Michael Unger.  All the love and thanks in the world to her lovely and irreplaceable friends, her inspiring teachers, and her truly awesome parents and family. KAYDENCE FRANK - Kaydence is thrilled to be joining the cast of Time Being in her first performance with the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre. She studied Musical Theater at the Boston Conservatory and has been actively involved in numerous theater productions since the age of twelve. Her other credits include the role of Alison in The Kid Who Played the Palace, performed at the Emelin Theater in New York, the Moonlight Room (Sal), Belles of the Mill (Bridgit), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim), and A Christmas Carol (Belle). Much love to her incredible parents William and Vickie for all their faith and support, and special love to Michael!


SPENCER ADAMS - Spencer Adams recently graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Spencer moved to New York to attend performing arts school and to pursue his dream. He plays the role of Hadif in Time Being. Spencer’s favorite roles include The Cat In The Hat in Seussical: The Musical, Tony in The Boyfriend, Andy in Juvie, Marcus in All in the Timing, and Andrew in Why Do We Laugh? as well as numerous short films. Spencer is also scheduled to appear on an episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels on A&E. Special thanks to mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, UB, and R7C.

LAUREN ORLANDO - Lauren is thrilled to be in her first Fildwith production in the role of Iseult in Time Being. She is currently attending Marymount Manhattan College where she hopes to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre. This March she was in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar In Concert directed and supervised by Charles Czarnecki and Neil Berg. She has performed in numerous musicals at Yorktown Stage, and most recently portrayed Wendy in Peter Pan and Jasmine in Aladdin. Her first professional acting job was performing in the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre’s A Country Christmas Carol. Lauren was a recent member of Jenna’s Dream Choir where she sang with such Broadway stars as Craig Schulman, Tamra Hayden and Kim Crosby. She studies voice religiously with Amelia De Mayo and acting with Ann Ratray.

RYAN BATES - Ryan is a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, CAP21, where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre.  At NYU, Ryan performed the roles of Juan Peron in Evita, Pythius in The Goddess Wheel, Smudge in The Sounds of Plaid, Mr. Haring in Radiant Baby, and the title role in Pippin.  NY credits include: Jack/Jesus in Reefer Madness (Looking Glass Theatre) and Mark in the Tree in the Yard (Core Theatre Co).  For the past three years, Ryan has spent his summers in Rhode Island where he has directed and production managed Fantasy Works Theater, Inc.  He has also worked as assistant stage manager at CAP21.  Ryan is very excited to work with such a great group of people.

ZOE FRIEDMAN - Zoe will graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts  on the Monday the house is dark. She spent her time at NYU acquiring her BFA from the CAP21 Musical Theatre Program.  Favorite NYU credits include Amanda in Radiant Baby, Mitzi in Sounds of Plaid, Roy/Ron/Skunk in Batboy, and Anonymous in Goddess Wheel.  Outside of school she played Mae in Reefer Madness at the Looking Glass Theatre and Rizzo in Grease at Beach Haven, NJ’s Surflight Theatre.  This summer she returns to Surflight to play the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  She’d like to thank Ryan for bringing her into such a visionary, creative, and talented ensemble.

KATIE HENNEY, 14, is an eighth-grader at Professional Children's School. In March 2006, Katie played Madelaine in her third Fildwith production of Ragamuffins, and in May 2006 portrayed the character of Gwen in In Tune with the Universe. She plays Elizabeth Cole in Warner Brothers' 2005 movie, Felicity, An American Girl Adventure, and officially introduced the new doll based on her character. In early 2007 she appeared on Nickelodeon’s Naked Brothers Band show in the episode Fishing for Love. For the past four years, Katie has performed in the NYC American Girls Revue in seven roles. She also can be seen on the DVD of Felicity, An American Girl Adventure in the Colonial Williamsburg Tour segment, and on the Samantha, An American Girl Holiday DVD, as host of the Tour of American Girl Place. Kate has also performed Off-Broadway in Kaufman Center's Sunshine, and Number the Stars, and productions of Cinderella as the Fairy Godmother and Oliver as Fagin. She's done a number of commercials, industrials and independent films, including Triangle Fire, Faith, Broken Star, The Color Red, If She Yells, Let Her Go, and performed in the 2004 PCS Benefit to honor Patti Lupone and in Robert Marks' Spotlight Night at Danny's Skylight Cabaret. Katie is learning guitar and piano, and is a featured singer on the new CD, Banana Boat to the Moon. She is managed by Harvest Talent and represented by Innovative Artists.

PATRICK HENNEY, a member of Actors' Equity, is a fourth-grader at Horace Mann in Riverdale. He is currently appearing in Howard Katz at the Roundabout with Alfred Molina, and recently played Chip in the Broadway production of Disney's Beauty and The Beast, an absolutely exhilarating six-month experience! In March 2006, Patrick was thrilled to play Arthur a fourth time in Fildwith's production of Ragamuffins along with his sisters and dad. He also portrayed the character of Alton in Fildwith's May 2006 production of In Tune with the Universe. Other stage credits include: Les Vegas' 2004 NYC Fringe Festival production of Rings, A Space Rock Musical, as Poot; the characters Molossos, Astyanax, and Peilus in IMUA! Theatre's Off-Broadway epic production of The Greeks; and David in Manhattan Theatre Source's staged musical reading, La Gioconda. He will appear in the upcoming feature Joshua, and has appeared in five independent films: The Reckoning, Triangle Fire, Heir, True Schools, and Celamy. Patrick performs on the new Broadway Carols for the Cure CD 2005 and on the new CD, Banana Boat to the Moon. He was a featured singer for Robert Marks' Spotlight Night at Danny's Skylight Cabaret and is learning to play drums, piano as well as tap. Patrick is managed by Harvest Talent and represented by Frontier Booking.

CAITLIN ZUCKERMAN is ten years old and is a singer, dancer and actress - and is so happy to be performing with Fildwith.  She has played in the American Girl Revue and can be seen currently in  Circle Friends at the American  Girl Theatre here in NYC.  Highlights of her young career include dancing with Ben Vereen in a documentary on Jazz legend Luigi for his lifetime Achievement Award.  She has been fortunate to be on scholorship with the master teacher enabling her to study alongside Broadway professionals and legends in the industry. A particularly memorable moment for Caitlin is being personally thanked by the composer Nancy Ford for her performance as Michelle in the NYC production of Circle of Friends. This memory will be cherished forever!

DAVID KAHN was pleased to play Lindbergh again in March 2006 at Theatre Five after appearing in the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre's December 2005 production of Ragamuffins at 59E59 Theaters.  In December 2006, he originated the role of Hadif in Fildwith's Being Born, and in May 2006, he played VW in Fildwith's In Tune with the Universe at Theatre Three on West 43rd Street. Among many camp and school shows, he starred in Oliver, bringing down the house singing "Where is Love", and played John in Peter Pan.   He made his acting debut before his family when at age five he recited Othello's final soliloquy by heart. He recently reprised the performance as a special Middle School guest at a High School Shakespeare competition.   Aside from his theatrical interests, David is an avid reader and writer and operates his own website, Konzmag.Com.   David currently attends the Dwight School.   David credits Sarah Kiessel for inspiring him to become an actor. This Spring, David is performing in the 3 Graces Theater Company production of Dream of a Common Language at the Hudson Guild Theatre.

CHRISTOPHER HENNEY reprised his role of Ezekiel in the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre's March 2006 production of Ragamuffins after delighting audiences as the character in December 2005 ' s production at 59E59 Theaters. In May 2006, he played Tulio in Fildwith's In Tune with the Universe. He recently performed Off -Broadway in Stranger Than Fiction, in three separate roles. He has two upcoming independent films, Rosaries and Vodka, and Triangle Fire. He has performed in regional and summer stock productions, and was a founding member of a theatrical troupe in Connecticut, the Oak Tree Table Round, which presented both staged readings and full productions of new works by emerging playwrights. Favorite roles include Burber in Broken Chair, Lyle in Pictures of the Floating World, John Henry in Resonance, and Reverend Woodsley in Man of the Cloth. Chris has also worked in TV and radio, both commercially and in on-air play readings.

JACKSON HINDEN, 13, will be attending the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in September. In March 2006 he appeared with the Fildwith Theatre Ensemble Ragamuffins as Skelly. He has appeared with the Fildwith as Milburn in 2004's Ragamuffins at the Theatre of the Riverside Church and also in December 2005's production at 59E59 Theaters; and as Bing in Interaction on Theatre Row in May 2005. Jackson has done national commercial work and several short independent films, of which the latest, Pumpkin Hell, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year. Jackson has appeared onstage at City Center in an all-star tribute to Joseph Papp and is also a featured singer on Erika Stadtlander's CD of original musical theatre songs, Banana Boat to the Moon. He studies voice, dance and acting, and loves to skateboard, snowboard and play soccer. Jackson is coached in acting by Marc Lewis, and in singing by Badiene Magaziner. He is managed by Harvest Talent and represented by Innovative Artists.

ALAN AISENBERG, 13, was thrilled to originate the role of Joopidus in Fildwith's Being Born. Alan has been performing for nine years. He loves to be on the stage. Regional theatre: Music Man (Ensemble), Oliver! (Fagin’s Gang).  Tours: The New Kid (Louis, Brick, Dre), MTI Tour for McGraw Hill (All-Stars Player). Roberts.


CHARLEY VICTORIA STEWART, is a 13-year-old seventh-grader at Maywood Avenue School in New Jersey.  She played the role of Enola in Fildwith's 2006 Off-Broadway production of Being Born. Amomg her many other stage credits, in March 2006 she appeared as Laura in The American Girl Revue and July 2006 she opened as Becky. In 2003 she appeared in the Disney Sing Along recording singing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo and Can You Feel the Love Tonight. She has performed at the Apollo Theater and in Madison Square Garden. In 2003 she appeared on Fox's American Juniors.  Charley has done numerous commercials, voiceovers and print work. She is managed by Shirley Grant Management, takes vocal coaching from Amelia DeMayo, takes acting coaching from Ann Ratray and Deb Roberts, and takes dance from Janine Molinari.


SABRINA BOGEN, 11, was delighted to portray Funanya in the recent Fildwith production of
Being Born.  She began doing commercials at age four and theater at age six and has enjoyed every minute of it.  Theater credits include NYC American Girl Revue, Equity Staged Reading of Laughing Matters directed by Leonard Foglia, Off-Broadway, Sunshine at The Kaufman Center and The People Garden in which she also toured playing various roles.  Other memorable theater experiences include playing Molly and Annie in Annie, Marta in The Sound of Music, Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Frog Prince, MTI-Disney Collection Team's 101 Dalmations, The Wizard of Oz and the upcoming S.I. Spectacular Christmas Show at the landmark St. George Theatre.  Sabrina has also done benefit shows, voiceover, television and film work and enjoys print and runway modeling.  She is represented by Abrams Artists and The Carson Organization.

COURTNEY DUNN is 14 years old, from Nutley, NJ and is a freshman at Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell. She recently performed the role of Sevrielle in Being Born with the Fildwith Theatre Ensemble.  Her Off-Broadway credits include the People Garden and Faraway.  Other credits include Anne Frank in the Diary of Anne Frank, Gracie Shinn in the Music Man at the Helen Hayes Theater, Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker for which she won the Best Supporting Actress award, and Theo in Pippin at Columbia University.  She has also been involved in numerous film, television, and commercial projects and can currently been seen in the national Build-A-Bear commercial. Courtney enjoys her involvement in quite a bit of print work and voiceover work. Other interests include singing in the award winning Madrigal group as well as studying private voice, dance and acting technique. She has been accepted in the Papermill’s Conservatory and the NJPAC’s intensive program.  Courtney is represented by CESD.

EMMETT RAHN-OAKES, 10, recently played the role of Imhotep in Being Born at Theatre Three with the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre and played the role of General Genghis Kahn Schmitz in the August 2006 Stagedoor Manor production of Seussical. He performed with Camp Broadway kids from around the country in the opening act of the 2005 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and recorded the cast CD under the direction of lyricist Andrew Lippa. Fluent in French, Emmett appeared as a soldier in a production of the Nutcracker in Paris. He loves to sing and dance and studies voice with Amelia DeMayo. Emmett is a sixth-grader at the Lycee Francais de New York and an avid soccer player.

MATILDA MCDONALD BROWN, 12, has played leading roles in two of Erika Stadtlander's
musicals at the Boquet River Theatre Festival in the Adirondacks: In Tune with the Universe (Neda) and Interaction (Venetia). In December 2005, she played Smidge in Fildwith's production of Ragamuffins, and reprised her role of Neda in Fildwith's May 2006 presentation of In Tune with the Universe. In 2003, she played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz in an upstate production. She is currently studying voice and tap and recently performed a solo in Comedy Tonight. Tilly is fluent in Russian, studies guitar, and had her drawings published in the Spring 2005 issue of Archie Comic Book. She is in the eighth grade at the Robert C. Parker School in Wynanskill, New York. Matilda is managed by Harvest Talent.

KARA BOCCHI is a senior drama major at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing
Arts. She is thrilled to be a part of The Fildwith Ensemble Theatre, having appeared as Leticia and
Breeze in the May 2006 production of In Tune with the Universe. Some of her credits include Hair! (Tribe), Mulan (Mulan), The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow), and Street Scene (Rose). She may also be seen in the Independent Film Fallout as the young daughter, Ashley.  She has been fortunate enough to recently work on the recording of Ever After (as Young Danielle) with composers Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich. In addition, she may be heard as Gerda in the Snow Queen CD composed by Emilian Sichkin. Kara studies voice with Amelia DeMayo and dance with Janine Molinari.

ARIANNA CELESTE DEDOMINICIS, 11, is in the seventh grade at Veterans Memorial Middle School in Brick, New Jersey.   She played the role of Mavis in both Fildwith's December 2005 and March 2006 productions of Ragamuffins and appeared as Joplin in Fildwith's May 2006 production of In Tune with the Universe.   Arianna studies dance, singing - and acting with Lane Napper.   She is a member of the City Lights Dance Ensemble at the Denise Daniele Dance Studio.   She has performed in many shows with the Brick Children's Community Theatre, including: Grease, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Bye Bye Birdie and Music Man. Arianna recently sang a solo at a Hurricane Katrina fundraiser and has won a number of tap dancing awards.

 

CHRISTIAN ERICKSEN, 14, is an original member of the Fildwith Ensemble appearing in its first four productions, first as Milburn and twice as Adlai in Ragamuffins, and as Atlas in Interaction on Theatre Row. He also appeared as a "Newsie" at the NYC Downtown Concert Series at Cipriani's with Beyonce, Mark Antony, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez and played the lead in A Murdered Mystery at CASTriBeCa. Christian attends the Professional Children's School where he has been a featured performer in director Tony Parise's Richard Rodgers Award Annual Benefits honoring Stephen Schwartz and Martin Charnin, both at the Hudson Theatre, and school productions as Linus in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods. Most recently he played major roles in the Weather Channel series It Could Happen Tomorrow, national on-air commercials for Discovery Kids, and principal roles in the indie short Slingers, and NYU grad student films Sweet Sensation, Christine, and a staged reading opposite Owen Kline to kick off production of the upcoming feature True Adolescents. Christian starred in several independent films including Inspector Clousseau, Who's on First, and How to Eat Fried Worms, which appear regularly on Cablevision's LTV on Long Island. He is lead singer and guitarist for the rock group Creative Narcissism and studies piano with Ion Ionescu. Christian is represented by CESD for film, TV and commercial work and managed by Denize Kazan of CASTriBeCa. 

 

MATTHEW GUMLEY, 9, was most recently seen in Sacramento, California performing in The Music Man as Winthrop Paroo. He made his Broadway debut in Beauty and the Beast as Chip, and is currently playing Michael Banks in the new musical Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam Theatre on Broadway. Regional credits include: Kathie Lee Gifford's Saving Aimee, originating the role of Rolf, Beauty and the Beast (Chip) at Montreal Troupe, and Carousel as the youngest snow child. TV credits include: Law and Order: SVU, In Search Of on the Sci-Fi network, Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh, Dancin' Feet, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Matt has done two feature films: Beer League and CHI: City Health Inspectors. He has done numerous commercials and just recently finished recording for a new video game called Thrillville by George Lucas. His live vocal performances include Go the Distance, the lyrics of David Zippel at Lincoln Center, A Tribute to Ron Howard at the Waldorf Astoria, and The Alternative Investment Gala to Benefit Lincoln Center, hosted by Conan O'Brien. He is a proud member of the performing group The Broadway Kids. Matthew studies voice with Badiene Magaziner and is represented by Nancy Carson, Innovative Artists, and Spellman-Paul Entertainment.

DAISY CARNELIA is a sixth-grader at the Professional Performing Arts School in NYC. Daisy played the role of Alivian in Fildwith's 2006 Being Born. She has performed for two years at the Annual Cabaret Convention at Town Hall hosted by Andrea Marcovicci. She has also been a guest artist with the Boston Pops. Daisy has attended Stagedoor Manor theatre camp, where she was recently seen in Suessical the Musical. She has sung solos in various school concerts as well as the title role in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. In December 2006, Daisy will be part of a benefit concert for Symphony Space entitled My Christmas Song for You. She likes nothing more than acting, singing and dancing and is thrilled to have the opportunity to do all three in Fildwith’s production of Being Born. Daisy is represented by Abrams Artists.

RYAN MCGINNIS is 13 years old and a seventh-grader at Pennwood Middle School in Yardley, Pennsylvania. He was thrilled to play Whitley in the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre's December 2005 and March 2006 production of Ragamuffins. Dance Masters of America awarded Ryan the National title of "Master Dance of America 2006". He has been a student for the past six years at Knecht Dance Academy in Levittown, studying ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical. Ryan studies with Lane Napper.
HALIA MEGUID, 17, first performed with the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre as Ms. Damaldamedamar and Delusia in May 2005's Interaction on Theatre Row, and as Emmalyn in December 2005's Ragamuffins at 59E59 Theaters, a role she reprised in March 2006 at Theatre Five.   In May 2006, Halia played Ardeth, Catrelle and Vision in Fildwith's In Tune with the Universe at Theatre Three.   Past theatre productions include: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena); Twelfth Night (Olivia); Measure for Measure (Escalus); The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Huck); and Antony and Cleopatra (Octavia).   Though her greatest passion is acting, Halia is an avid musician, her specialties being voice, guitar, piano and songwriting.   She is an experienced graphic and web designer, and has also penned two screenplays and three stage plays.
PATRICE ALYSSA ROTH, 14,  has most recently been seen Off-Broadway as Fleur in Interaction and as Carlene in Ragamuffins with the Fildwith Ensemble.  She is also prominently featured on the new CD, Banana Boat To The Moon.  Other credits include Madelaine in Ragamuffins at The Theatre of the Riverside Church and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Jr. at the Irvington Town Hall Theatre. With Dancewave Kids Company, Patrice has performed in the modern works of renowned choreographers Mark Morris, Trisha Brown, Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig, Doug Varone and Garth Fagan at the Joyce Soho, University Settlement and NYC Public Schools.  Patrice has studied ballet at American Ballet Theatre’s (ABT) Summer Intensive and musical theatre at Interlochen Arts Camp.  Patrice is in the ninth grade at Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in Manhattan.

TIMOTHY WEBSTER SACCA is 13 and an eighth-grader at Saint David's School. He was last seen with the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre as Silas in the May 2005 production of Interaction, and as Whitley in the December 2004 production of Ragamuffins. Tim enjoys music, baseball, and reading Harry Potter. Tim can be heard in a number of solos on the new CD of original musical theatre songs, Banana Boat to the Moon, which also features eight other talented Fildwith actor-singers.

 

DAVID BARRETT, 16, played the role of Daggol in Fildwith's Being Born.  Some of his past
shows include:  The Toymaker (Off-B’way), The Music Man (Helen Hayes Theatre), A Christmas Carol (WPPAC), The New Kid (regional tour), Summer and Smoke (Antrim Playhouse), and several shows at Stagedoor Manor and Irvington Town Hall Theatre.  David has also been in five movies, including In Bloom, Off the Black, and Slingers, in which he has a leading role. He has worked in video for Rodgers and Hammerstein Corp., for ABC radio, and enjoys modeling.  David studies voice with Celeste Simone, and dance at Coupe Dance Studio. He is represented by Naomi Kolstein, of KTA.


MARISSA BARNES, 14, played Ganina in Fildwth's Being Born.  Some of her favorite past
shows include:  A Christmas Carol (WPPAC), Annie (Iron Mountain Stage), Summer and Smoke (Antrim Playhouse), The New Kid (regional tour), and several lead roles at Stagedoor Manor and Irvington Town Hall Theatre. Marissa can currently be seen on MTV-2 in a video of Packing Things Up on the Scene by Radio4.  She has been in three films, including In Bloom, All Screwed
Up, and The New Kid.  Additionally, she has worked in video for Rodgers and Hammerstein Corp and for ABC radio.  Marissa studies voice with Celeste Simone, dance at Coupe Dance Studio, and acting with Ann Ratray.  She is represented by Naomi Kolstein, of KTA.


 

JOHNNY SCHAFFER , 11, is a seventh grade student at Notre Dame School in Bethlehem, PA and joined the cast of Ragamuffins in the role of Ellsworth in March 2006. Johnny recently played the role of young Patrick in Mame with Sandy Duncan at the Barrington Stage Company.  He has been training with the PA Youth Theatre of Performing Arts in Bethlehem for the past 7 years, and has appeared in many of their productions, including Narnia, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (Edmund), and the Velveteen Rabbit (the Boy).  He recently played Jo Jo in Seussical at Civic Theatre, Allentown, PA and has performed in many college productions including Annie Get Your Gun (Little Jake) at Muhlenberg College, and Our Town at Moravian College (Wally Webb).  Johnny's training includes acting, singing, dance and, his favorite, tap.  He receives voice instruction from Elizabeth Falcone and is a featured soloist on her CD, Christmas City Kids Sing Christmas.  He has studied in NYC with Lane Napper, Kerry Lea, Flo Greenberg, and Camp Broadway.  Johnny was recently in the 2005 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade opening number at Herald Square.  His other interests include skiing, swimming, motorcycle riding, 50's music, classic movies and collecting antiques.

MARY SCHAFFER, 14, is a tenth grade student at Bethlehem Catholic High School in Bethlehem, PA. In March 2006, she joined the cast of Ragamuffins, playing the role of Alice.  She is honored to be a new member of the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre.  Mary has been training with the PA Youth Theatre Performing Arts School in Bethlehem for the past 9 years in acting, singing, and dance.  She also takes voice lessons from Elizabeth Falcone, and has appeared on Ms. Falcone's CD, "Christmas City Kids Sing Christmas".  Mary has also attended workshops in NY with Kerry Lea, Lane Napper and Flo Greenberg, as well as Drama Camps at DeSales University in PA.  Mary has appeared in numerous PA Youth Theatre productions, most recently in Narnia, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and the Wizard of Oz.  In addition to her love for theatre, Mary enjoys cheerleading, skiing, swimming, shopping, and collects vintage hats and jewelry.

TESS SOLTAU played the role ot Callalily in Fildwith's December 2005 production of the show at 59E59 Theaters and again at Theatre Five in March 2006. Television includes: Guiding Light, and, most recently, a principal role on Law & Order SVU. Regional credits include: Funny Girl (Fanny); Our Town (Emily); Les Miserables (Eponine); "M"; Ruthless; Meet Me in St. Louis and Sound of Music. Tess is an entertainment headliner for many national and Canadian musical events and has performed widely throughout the state of Florida. She is a special guest artist on the new CD, Banana Boat to the Moon, and is featured on Lane Napper's instructional dance video, Dancin' Feet. Tess is represented by Don Birge at Stewart Talent.
ZAK STEVENS, 13, recently joined the Fildwith to perform in the role of Milburn in Ragamuffins and Opus in In Tune with the Universe. He appeared in the Brave New World's innovative outdoor production of To Kill a Mockingbird as Dill. He has appeared in indie shorts The Poetry Lesson and 4/8/94, as well as Fishbowl, an NYU student film. In addition, he has appeared in Sugar and A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine at the French Woods Festival. Zak also made an appearance in Denis Leary's Comedy Central X-mas show in 2005. Later this Spring he'll be playing the role of Nicely Nicely Johnson in a school production of Guys and Dolls. Zak loves to act, tap dance and sing.

 

ONDINE VIÑAO is a seventh-grader at Grace Church School and played Smidge in Fildwith's March 2006 production of Ragamuffins.   She recently performed in plays at CASTribeca and Grace Church School.   Ondine has appeared in several HBO Productions including Book Club and Happy To Be Nappy and Other Stories of Me.   In addition. she was featured in an episode of Channel 13's Reading Rainbow.   Ondine has studied acting for five years with Denize Kazan at CASTribeca (formerly Soho Children's Acting Studio).   She also attended Children's Aid Society summer acting camp for three years.   Ondine was the subject of a cover story feature article and photograph in New York Magazine entitled The Onlies.   She is represented by Abrams Artists.  

 

 

FILDWITH CREATIVE TEAM

ERIKA STADTLANDER - Founding Artistic Director, Playwright, Composer, Theatrical Director, Costume Designer
Erika is the Founding Artistic Director of both the Fildwith Ensemble Theatre in NYC and the Boquet River Theatre Festival in the Adirondacks, which she led for fourteen summer seasons. In 2006, she collaborated with Fildwith’s Musical Director, composer Ion Ionescu, writing the book and lyrics for Being Born, which they followed with Time Being.  She’s written (book, music, lyrics) and directed ten original musicals, her favorites being:  Ragamuffins; Interaction; A Thousand Shades of Gray; To Me, Fair Friend; In Tune with the Universe; Nimbly Woo.  Erika has written and performed three one-person plays in NYC and on tour:  I Think I’m In Here Somewhere; In the Eye; Underwater Orchestra.  Erika has a BFA and trained at Adelphi University, Wagner College and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.  She worked for many years with the best company ever: Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (immense appreciation to Mary Kathryn and Alex Navab, Henry Kravis, Anna Abramowicz and many other fine friends there for generously helping to keep Fildwith afloat).  She’s also a costume designer, a graphic artist and has produced two CDs of her original songs:  Sing to the Moon (2002); and Banana Boat to the Moon (2006), featuring nine gifted young Fildwith actors singing 21 theatre tunes of hers.  www.cdbaby/cd/stadtlander2

ION IONESCU - Musical Director, Composer, Arranger
Ion started his music training at the age of four in his native Romania, and went on to win that country's National Classical Music Competition as well as dozens more, including the prestigious Bertelsmann's World of Expression Scholarship Program (BMG) for composers.   Ion has performed in over a hundred venues in the United States and Europe, and in solo concerts of his own compositions at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Steinway Hall, Cami Hall, DiCapo Opera House and the National Arts Club in NYC.   Atmosphere, the CD of Ion's original work, was launched in 2002 at a Command Performance before His Excellency the Consul General of Romania at the Romanian Consulate in New York.  In 2006, Ion collaborated with Fildwith's Artistic Director Erika Stadtlander, composing the musical score for Being Born, which they followed with Time Being. Ion also composed the score for the independent film Long Story Short and for Fildwith's presentation of Luceafarul, the Legend of the Evening Star.   He has served as Musical Director and arranger for Fildwith's productions of Being Born, In Tune with the Universe, Ragamuffins and Interaction, and as Musical Director for The Fantasticks, Grease and Leader of the Pack at the Dwight School. www.ionionescu.com

SEAN M. LITTLEJOHN - Managing Director, Stage Manager, Theatrical Director, Actor
Sean is a recent graduate of Wagner College with a BA in Theatre Performance.  At the Fildwith, Sean directed and performed in the cabaret Down to Earth and co-directed Being Born and In Tune with Universe. In addition to stage managing Being Born, Ragamuffins and In Tune with the Universe at the Fildwith, stage managing credits as well as costume design include productions at Park Playhouse II and Wagner College Theatre.   Past acting credits include Wagner College: The Zoo Story (Jerry), Psycho Beach Party (Yo-Yo), Chess (Nikolai); Park Playhouse: The Wiz (Lion), Once on This Island (Agwe), South Pacific (Steves);   Other: Bye Bye Birdie (Conrad Birdie), Les Mis (Thenardier), Ragtime (Houdini), Godspell (Jeffrey), Not Another Musical (Caldwell Sneer) - Original Cast Recording.   He has also toured Europe with American Music Abroad (soloist).  Sean has acted in two Fildwith musicals: as Adlai in Ragamuffins and as Hendrix in In Tune with the Universe.

JANINE MOLINARI - Choreographer
Janine choreographs and teaches master classes throughout the U.S., Japan and China, including Taipei's International Dance Festival held each summer.  Her students can be seen on TV, film, commercials and Broadway, including Lazytown, Desperate Housewives, Disney's Child Star, Hide and Seek, Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, 42nd Street, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Gypsy, Annie, Annie Get Your Gun, White Christmas, American Girl Revue, Grinch, Billy Elliot and many others.  Recent choreography credits include Off-Broadway's Blessings in Disguise, Fiddler Sub-Terrain, Tanya-the rock opera, Tap Rules, Broadway's Kabaret Kids, NBC's Challenge America, The Fantastikids, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, many national tours, industrials and the soon-to-be-released film, The New Kid.  Janine has appeared in NYC and toured nationally/internationally in the longest running comedy, Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding, playing many roles including the bride Tina.  Some other favorite performance credits include Nunsense, How to Succeed in Business, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof and many original shows and cabarets at La Mama Etc., St. Luke's Theatre, The Triad and The Duplex. Janine has created choreography for Ragamuffins and In Tune with the Universe at the Fildwith. She is currently choreographing a regional production of The Buddy Holly Story.

JESSICA NORTHROP - Choreographer
Jessica is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Fildwith Ensemble Theatre. Jessica started her theatrical career as a dancer with the Los Angeles Ballet company, and the Los Angeles Jazz company working with such greats as Roland Dupree, Michael Peters, Joe Tremaine. After choreographing shows for Harrah's and abroad,  as well as participating in the creation of opening acts for Tony Orlando, and Sha na na, Jessica made her way to New York to perform Off-Broadway in a role she originated at the Wilshire Ebel Theatre in L.A.  New York  credits include CATS on Broadway, Hooray for Hollywood at the King Cole Room, Oklahoma, and The Wager. Choreography credits include productions of Pippin, Music Man, Jesus Christ Superstar, Could it Be Magic starring Lance Burton, and  choreographing and staging for cabaret acts at the Duplex and Don't Tell Mama's. Jessica has a Masters in Education. Her favorite role is wife and mother of two. Jessica is a founding director along with the wonderful Janine Molinari of Kabaret Kids in NYC. She is dedicated to Luigi and hopes she, too, will "NEVER STOP MOVING".

ANJEANETTE STOKES - Lighting Designer
As a Texas-born Seattle native, Anjeanette is happy to finally call New York her home. BA University of Dallas; MFA The Ohio State University. She's lit the 2006 Fildwith productions of Being Born, Ragamuffins and In Tune with the Universe. Recent credits include Bloody Mary (Clemente Soto Valez) for which she was nominated a New York Innovative Theatre Award, A Jew Grows in Brooklyn (American Theatre for Actors and Lambs Theatre), Brilliant Traces (Gene Frankel Theatre), The Brothers Karamazov (The Connelly Theatre), Long Christmas Dinner/NY Christmas Carol (Blue Heron Theatre), Wellspring (Century Center). ROSANNE FINK - Casting
Rosanne has assisted on several Fildwith's productions and is thrilled to be a part of Time Being. Rosanne holds a BFA in Theatre (Directing), and attended The National Theater Institute at Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center. She was a founding member of the musical theater, The Colonial Theatre, Westerly, RI. Rosanne has worked on casting projects for stage, TV, film, including the ABC daytime serial, Loving. Switching gears to production in the '90's at the ABC Network, she pioneered content and production for ABC Online on AOL, and produced for abc.com. She also created, designed, and built the original Oprah online and web presence. In addition, Rosanne worked as a Reporter and Editor for nbcolympics.com for the 2000 summer games in Sydney, Australia. Most rewarding role has been wife and mother!
